Miu Miu men's sport shoes offer a rare glimpse into the label's unconventional aesthetic. This rare sample from A/W 2004 draws from a diverse variety of influences and incongruent materials, resulting in a strikingly off-beat sneaker.

The shoes' upper is an amalgamation of utilitarian inspirations. The curvilinear patchwork design is reminiscent of driving shoes, offset by hiking-style lacing and rubberised side panels (rands). The toebox has an unconventional bulbous shape, while the outsoles have football-inspired rubber studs.

The materials used are equally eclectic: The upper is crafted from a distinctive olive nylon canvas with interwoven reflective thread, brown waxed suede side panels, black wrinkled patent leather accents and bronze structured patent leather on the toe, lace guard and heel. The tongue is black technical padded mesh with a webbing tape pull tab, while the interior is lined in grey padded mesh. The composite rubber sole has a matte base while the outsole studs have a polished finish. A silver metal stud at the top of the heel completes the unconventional design.
